San Diego’s lively downtown offers a great diversity of dining and entertainment options, with Horton Plaza, the Gaslamp Quarter, Little Italy and Petco Park all within a short stroll or trolley ride of each other.

There’s always plenty to do in San Diego, whether it’s watching sunbathing seals in La Jolla or visiting world-famous Sea World or LEGOLAND California. In the mood for culture and adventure? Take a walk through nearby Balboa Park, home to the world-famous San Diego Zoo, 15 major museums and several performing arts venues. Plus, many activities and events are absolutely free to attend.

When it comes to defining your lifestyle, San Diego offers a wide variety of choices – from a vibrant, livable downtown to over 50 town ‘villages’ in the immediate area  – each offering diverse, charismatic neighborhoods and communities, with their own unique vibe. Transportation around the city is conveniently provided via San Diego’s Metropolitan Transit System (MTS) Trolley and commuter bus lines, via North County Transit District commuter train and light rail system, and via Metrolink commuter train, bringing the average San Diego commute to about 25-30 minutes.
