  • Gaylord Palms Resort & Convention Center

Designed to emulate Florida’s lush botanic and aquatic environments and architectural styles, Gaylord Palms is modeled after regions unique to the sunshine state, including the historic, old-world charm of St. Augustine; the festive spirit of Key West; and the Everglades. The property is sited on 60 acres directly outside the gates of Walt Disney World, and is the only facility in the area to combine hotel, convention and entertainment amenities under one roof—and it’s not your typical roof either. The project’s signature feature, a four-and-a-half-acre, glass-covered, climate-controlled atrium soars over the resort, creating an enclosed entertainment experience with restaurants, retail and attractions.

  • Hard Rock Cafe Memphis

After 16 years at 315 Beale Street, Hard Rock Cafe Memphis was ready for a new look, new vibe and new location. With an interior renovation by HBG, Hard Rock is now making history within the infamous Lansky Bros. building at 126 Beale Street. In its heyday, Lansky Clothiers boasted ‘the King of Rock ‘n Roll’ as a patron, then in later life the building was converted into a restaurant, Elvis Presley’s Memphis. As the Memphis home of Hard Rock Café, the restaurant design was defined by several existing building elements which closely resemble items found in Elvis Presley’s Graceland estate, including Corinthian columns, crystal chandelier and turned wood staircase railings. Designers kept these elements and modernized the space through color, geometric motif and 5,000 square feet of music memorabilia to give it more of an “edgy” rock-n-roll feel inspired not only by Elvis but numerous other musical genres in keeping with the Hard Rock brand.

From the bold colors in the porcelain tiled floor to the larger than life custom-made beer bottle chandelier over the bar, this restaurant is truly one of a kind. Murals and art pieces made by local New Orleans artisans adorn the walls throughout, juxtaposed by restroom wall tile featuring the band Blondie’s song lyrics and 150-year-old reclaimed Oak wood beams.
