International Design Competition Sponsored by HBG
Hnedak Bobo Group has long supported both undergraduate and graduate architecture programs throughout the Mid-South, including The University of Arkansas. A new competition-based scholarship was established by the firm in 2007-08 and the winners were announced in October 2008. The Hnedak Bobo Group International Design Award is the first of its kind at the University of Arkansas. As a design-oriented rather than need-based scholarship program, it provides an annual prize of $5,000 to a rising 5th year architecture student or team of students who participate in the U of A's international architecture programs in Rome or Mexico City. The award recognizes exceptional work completed during this inspiring period abroad and is judged by comprised of HBG and School of Architecture officials.
