Senecas top off Buffalo casino project

Despite the cold, rainy weather, spirits were high as the final steel beam in the Seneca Buffalo Creek Casino was hoisted and set into place.

Tuesday morning’s ceremony marked another milestone in the development of the $130 million permanent facility for the five-year-old casino – one of three gaming and entertainment centers operated by the Seneca Gaming Corp., part of the Seneca Nation of Indians. Work on the 65,000-square-foot casino began last year, is on schedule, and the venue is slated to open by early fall 2013.  (more…)


Delivering smiling faces this holiday season

HBG is pleased to participate annually in the Marine Corp Toys for Tots campaign. Always ready to give to a terrific cause, HBG-ers were extra moved by the holiday spirit this year, donating 62 toys – more than any previous year! Luxurious, warm, richly designed and contemporary; these words perfectly describe the look and feel of the additions to the Pokagon Band of Potawatomi Indians’ Four Winds Casino Resort in New Buffalo, Mich. The recently completed expansion project, spearheaded by Hnedak Bobo Group (HBG), is located in southwest Michigan’s scenic Harbor Country, just minutes from Lake Michigan and only a 90-minute drive from Chicago. When the Four Winds Casino Resort in New Buffalo, Mich., first opened its doors in 2007, the Pokagon Band of Potawatomi Indians-owned property’s primary claim to fame was its 130,000-square-foot casino—the largest and only land-based gaming facility within a 150-mile patch of Southwest Michigan. HBG CAN-structs to Feed the Need

HBG’s yearly Thanksgiving celebration was held November 14th, as the entire firm shared a family-style dinner and helped the Mid-South Food Bank with its annual food drive to “feed the need” in Memphis and surrounding areas. Last year, HBG employees contributed 382 pounds of food to the food bank, equal to serving 306 people a festive holiday meal. (more…)
